Rafting tours, Antalya's most famous daily adventure activity
Köprülü Canyon National Park
Köprülü Canyon is a river that starts in Sütçüler district of Isparta and flows into the sea in Antalya, suitable for rafting. The rafting area is reached after 38 km from the road junction between Serik and Manavgat, by taking the north in the direction of the Taurus Mountains. Covering an area of 366,140 decares where the Köprüçay (Köprü) river and the historical Selge city are located within the borders of Manavgat district, this region was separated and declared as a National Park in 1973. The split valley formed by Köprüçay between Bolasan village and Beşkonak, which constitutes the resource value of the National Park, is one of the longest canyons in Turkey with its 14 km length and 100 m wall height.
Köprüçay, which arises from the Taurus Mountains and passes through the natural wonder canyons, pours into the Mediterranean from the south of Serik. Köprüçay, fed by underground waters in canyons that are steep on both sides and almost impossible to climb, constitutes one of Turkey's most beautiful natural recreation areas. In addition, the ancient city of Selge, located in the mountainous terrain to the west of the river; Many archaeological resources such as the castles by the river, aqueducts, bridges from the Roman Period and historical roads increase the importance of Köprülü Canyon.
